An afternoon away

This piece is inspired by this quiet moments on holiday. Once everyone has left the beach and the brightest part of the day has fallen away. Primarily using intense blues and melancholic tones to represent the peace but sometimes sadness in solitude.
The hope for this painting when gazed upon is to surrender to the intentional colour pallet and to empty thoughts to feel a single emotion.
